There are three main motivations that patients have when they want to do laser vision correction. The first is the medical evidence, the cases where correcting vision is impossible with glasses or lenses. The second motive is the nature of a person’s professional activity, when glasses or lenses create a certain discomfort in work. Finally, the third motive is simply unwillingness to wear glasses. But the patient’s desire is not enough. Before performing surgery, the patient must undergo a full ophthalmological examination with the ophthalmologist of our centre. During diagnostic procedures, the patient’s visual organ indicators necessary for the operation are determined on special equipment, as well as possible contraindications for laser vision correction.
