A cataract is an opacification of the lens of the eye which leads to a decrease in vision. The main symptoms are blurred vision, colours appear pale, circles around the light source, increased sensitivity to light, impaired vision at night, and a number of others. Today, cataracts are one of the most common and dangerous ophthalmological diseases.
